Christmas 2008
I love that she held out her book so well.
Skipping forward in time from the last post. Claire's first Christmas was a lot of fun. She was at least somewhat interested in her gifts. I had to pat myself on the back for that.
Also, for her Christmas present we got her an exersaucer. She absolutely loves it.
The only problem with it is she is cursed by her mom, with short stubby legs.
We found a way around that.

Claire is such a cutie pie. She is so healthy now, you would never know that life started out so hard with her!
Guess what? I've started teaching Evelynn two signs...one for "more" and the other for "all done" so she can learn how to tell me when to feed her more food or when she's all done. She gets so delighted when I make those signs for her. Some day, I'll be delighted when she signs them back!
I love Claire's little "old man mouth" in the penultimate photo. She is very, very cute. (And she knows it!)
